HOW I SURVIVE THE SOLITARY LIFE DURING MY FINAL SEMESTER IN IPOH TOWN

Here I am still lingering around those final semester student life back in 2017.

Aku pernah bercakap tentang hidup solitari aku di satu post dan sharing hari ni adalah berkenaan bagaimana aku create hobi baru untuk isi masa dan buat freelance designer masa semester terakhir tu.

FREELANCE GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Bilik sewa aku masa ni atas rumah kedai, sewa bulanan RM180 macamtu. Waktu tu elaun bulanan MARA dalam RM560. Semester terakhir aku start dua bulan selepas aku habis insternship di Serdang.

Jadi rezeki aku waktu tu, Supervisor aku minta aku sambung untuk buat freelance design social media post untuk company diorang. Jadi deal untuk freelance waktu tu RM400 sebulan. Duit freelance ni lah yang aku guna untuk bayar duit sewa bilik & internet.

Deal aku waktu tu every week perlu submit design before Ahad. Jadi aku selalu spend time Jumaat, Sabtu & Ahad petang lepas pukul dua macam tu untuk fokus on this work . Aku jarang buat kerja malam sebab malam waktu liburan aku😀

HANTAR & TERIMA POSKAD INTERNATIONALLY (POSTCROSSING)
Since aku duduk sorang, ada masa aku macam bingung2 gitu taktahu nak buat apa. Jadi aku suka godek-godek google dan terjumpa satu website ni nama Postcrossing.

Dekat website ni kau boleh tukar-tukar poskad dengan orang lain dari seluruh dunia. Aku pernah terima poskad dari Netherland, Taiwan, USA, German, Finland, Rusia, Luxemborg dan banyakkk lagi. Harga setem untuk pos poskad ke luar negara waktu tu dalam 50sen ke 60 sen. Kalau dalam Malaysia dalam 30sen.

Hobi postcrossing ni antara hobi yang paling buat aku rasa happy sangat waktu tu sebab aku finally jumpa one of the best way untuk introvert macam aku interact with outside world. I even design my own poskad masa tu (gambar atas ni) and I am very proud of it sebab it manage to travels throughout the globe! Rindu gila time ni!

REDEEM FREEBIES/FREE SAMPLES
Haha usually aku akan go through website freebies and main click2 je. Ada setengah korang kena masukkan address & those brand/companies akan pos the samples/freebies. Ada setengah korang kena redeem dekat outlet di shopping mall. Kebetulan bilik sewa aku walking distance je dengan shopping mall jadi kalau ada item yang boleh redeem, hujung minggu baru aku pergi.

Aku pernah terima lipbalm samples, cosmetic, skincare, formula milk, pads etc. Like seriously, bila teringat how I survive those solitary days..I am quite a fun person actually hahaha.

DIY NATURAL REMEDIES
I googled all kind of recipes for natural remedies. I did these on weekends untuk mengelakkan kepishangan gitu (please ignore the rempit lines). Aku pernah try rice scrub (really works on smoothen skin), coffee scrub & serum (coconut oil + aloe vera + palmer's oil).

Again, I am quite fun when I am all alone.


WEEKLY ECOSHOP STROLLING
Aku pergi hampir setiap weekend since dekat dengan bilik sewa (bilik sewa aku dekat tengah pekan so everything reachable by walking distance). I dont really have that much money at that time, jadi aku limitkan setiap kali aku pergi tak boleh lebih RM10. Waktu ni ECO SHOP tak viral lagi.

Konklusinya, aku rindu zaman semester terakhir di Ipoh huhu.

Sharing ni cuma nak bagitahu yang masih ada ruang untuk introvert individual macam aku untuk survive this solitary life even better (and as a student).  Tapi along the way, kau akan dapat macam-macam persoalan la dari orang sekeliling terutamanya classmate kau😂

It wasn't easy dealing with this introvert personality. Aku tak boleh control stress & anxiety sebab everyday kena hadap so many people. Sebab aku taknak student life aku jadi spoil teruk, aku decide untuk have my own private life for one last time sebelum aku habis belajar. Aku jadi tenang giler dapat asingkan diri completely dari crowd once I reach my room.

I am still crawling to fit into the society even now. Believe me its always a K.O. Sama ada aku end up firing up & act trashy ataupun aku jadi completely ignorance towards people.

Aku acknowledge the fact yang I am not special, semua orang pun ada their own struggle to deal with, ye betol. That's why at the end of the day, aku prefer being all alone.
